Arizona pioneer, rancher and naturalist. Ila Harrison was born in 1900 at Duquesne in Washington Camp near the Huachuca Mountains in Arizona. During World War One she worked for the Duquesne Mine in many capacities. While attending the University of Arizona, she worked hauling ore to Mexico and became acquainted with Pancho Villa.
